  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley optional, for garnish

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and paprika on both sides.

Step 2: Sear the Chicken

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear them for about 4-5 minutes per side until they are golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Add the cream cheese and stir until it’s fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

Step 4: Cook the Chicken in the Sauce

  • Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, covering them with the creamy sauce.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and let the chicken cook in the sauce for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle the cooked chicken with chopped parsley (optional) for a fresh finish.
  • Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
