CRACK CHICKEN SOUP

This Crack Chicken Soup is a creamy, comforting soup loaded with chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add chicken breasts and cook until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from pot, shred it using two forks, and set aside.
  • Add cream cheese to the broth and stir until melted and combined. Add ranch seasoning and mix well.
  • Return the shredded chicken back to the pot and add cheddar cheese, bacon, celery, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes and serve hot.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream before serving.
