  • In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until smooth.
  • Scoop tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Flatten each dollop of dough with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden at the edges.
  • Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
