  • 1.5 lbs ground beef lean preferred
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 15 oz, with juices
  • 1 can kidney beans 15 oz, drained and rinsed
  • 8 oz macaroni pasta
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the beef. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the cooked macaroni pasta. Combine all ingredients and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
