Classic and Traditional Lasagna
This classic lasagna is made with layers of rich beef ragù, creamy béchamel, and lots of cheese. A family favorite recipe cherished by many.

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large pan, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Repeat layers.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of ground nutmeg to the ricotta mixture.
