Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the cream cheese, vanilla extract, and egg, and beat until smooth.
Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the cinnamon.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
