Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies

A delightful combination of cinnamon and cream cheese, these cookies are soft, chewy, and perfect for any occasion.

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the cream cheese, vanilla extract, and egg, and beat until smooth.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the cinnamon.
  • Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies keep well in an airtight container for up to a week. Enjoy them with a glass of milk or a cup of tea!
