Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract, almond extract, and egg, beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until combined.
Fill a cookies press with the dough and form cookies on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Cool on wire racks before serving.
