  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns thawed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Place hash browns in the baking dish. Layer the cooked sausage over the hash browns.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hash browns. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until eggs are set.

Notes

Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
