Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in milk, salt, and pepper.
Place hash browns in the baking dish. Layer the cooked sausage over the hash browns.
Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hash browns. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until eggs are set.
Notes
Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
