Chocolate Reese's Cookies

These chewy chocolate cookies are packed with Reese's peanut butter cups for an extra decadent treat.

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs, then add the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
