Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, yogurt, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
Gently fold the banana mixture into the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
Stir in the semi-sweet and dark chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading evenly.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use ripe bananas with plenty of brown spots for maximum sweetness and flavor. Store bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
