  • 8 ounces egg noodles uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth low sodium
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add noodles, peas, and carrots. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
