  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups buttermilk for marinating
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large eggs whisked
  • 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 12 pieces slider buns
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 36 pieces frozen mozzarella sticks

Garlic-Herb Butter Topping

  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Butterfly the chicken breasts and pound them to an even thickness.
  • Marinate chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  • Set up a breading station with flour, eggs, and panko breadcrumb mixture.
  • Preheat the oven and bake the mozzarella sticks until golden.
  • Heat oil and butter in a skillet, cook the breaded chicken until golden brown.
  • Assemble sliders with buns, chicken, marinara sauce, cheese, and mozzarella sticks.
  • Brush sliders with garlic-herb butter and bake until bubbly.

Notes

You can replace buttermilk with a milk and vinegar mixture if needed.
