  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup canned
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs for topping
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the broccoli florets. Cook for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  • In a pan over medium heat, cook the chicken pieces until no longer pink, about 7-8 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, and cooked chicken. Stir until well mixed.
  • Add the broccoli to the mixture and gently stir to combine.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly on top.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
