refrigerated pie crust
softened as per package instructions
Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and water. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
Unroll one pie crust onto the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust.
Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges.
Cut several slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Notes
Let cool slightly before serving. Delicious with ice cream or whipped cream.
