This classic cherry cheesecake is a delightful dessert with a creamy filling and a sweet cherry topping.

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl and press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Blend in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the center is slightly set. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for 4 hours.
Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
Notes
For best results, allow the cheesecake to chill overnight before serving.
