  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spread the mixture evenly over the center of each tortilla.
  • Top with cherry pie filling, then fold sides and roll up tightly.
  • Heat oil over medium heat and fry chimichangas until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar.
