Preparation Steps
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the rice and salt, then cover and reduce the heat to low.

Remove from heat, add butter and shredded cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the rice is creamy.
