  • 1 pound cremini mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Clean and slice the mushrooms.
  • In a large skillet, cook the mushrooms until tender.
  • In a saucepan, whisk together the flour and milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine the mushroom mixture and cheese sauce. Pour into a greased casserole dish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
