This delicious Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole combines the classic flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy tater tots for a comforting and easy-to-make dish.

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef lean
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 bag tater tots frozen
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and mix until well combined.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  • Arrange the tater tots on top of the cheese layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Feel free to add pickles or bacon bits as a topping for extra flavor.
