Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 package Cheddar Bay biscuit mix
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, mixed vegetables, and beef broth. Let simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, prepare Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions, using milk and melted butter. Stir in shredded cheese.
  • Spoon biscuit mixture over the beef filling evenly.
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can substitute turkey for beef or use fresh vegetables instead of frozen. Add a pinch of cayenne to the beef mix for extra spice.
