Caramel Apple Dump Cake

A simple no-fuss dessert made by layering sliced apples, caramel sauce, and cake mix in a baking dish, then baking until tender and golden. This one-bowl dump cake requires minimal prep and delivers a deliciously sweet and gooey treat.

  • 1 can caramel ice cream topping 21 ounces
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 ounces
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the sliced apples evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Drizzle the caramel topping evenly over the apples.
  • Sprinkle the entire cake mix evenly over the top of the apples and caramel.
  • Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
