Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the sliced apples evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Drizzle the caramel topping evenly over the apples.
Sprinkle the entire cake mix evenly over the top of the apples and caramel.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
