Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin pan or line with cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chopped apples and caramel sauce.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool slightly before drizzling with additional caramel sauce. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Try serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
