Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place sweet potatoes in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, blend brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
Pour mixture over the sweet potatoes and toss to coat evenly.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil, stir the potatoes and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until tender.
