- 0.25 cup milk
- 0.5 cup chocolate chips

Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, egg, and milk. Stir until a thick dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
