  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage sliced
  • 8 ounces pasta cooked al dente
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning

Preparation Steps

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook sliced sausage until browned.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink. Remove shrimp and sausage from the skillet.
  • In the same skillet, add heavy cream and cajun seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Return shrimp and sausage to the skillet and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Mix cooked pasta into the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.

Notes

For extra heat, add additional Cajun seasoning or a dash of hot sauce.
