Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in vanilla and then gradually mix in the flour.
Fold in chopped pecans.
Drop dough by spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast pecans prior to adding them to the dough.
