  • 4 lb beef brisket trimmed and cubed
  • 2 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • 2 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
  • Rub olive oil over the brisket cubes and season with smoked paprika, black pepper, and kosher salt.
  • Place the seasoned brisket cubes in the smoker and cook for about 3 hours.
  • After 3 hours, remove the brisket and coat with BBQ sauce. Wrap tightly in foil and return to the smoker for another hour.
  • Check for tenderness, then remove from the smoker and let rest before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of brown sugar before serving.
