Preparation Steps

• Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
• In a saucepan, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, and butter. Heat over medium heat until the mixture starts to boil.
• Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
• Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
• Bake for 5 minutes, remove from oven, and scatter M&M's over the melted chocolate.
• Allow to cool before breaking into pieces and serving.
