Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo

Creamy broccoli fettuccine alfredo recipe. A quick and easy weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Steam or boil broccoli until tender-crisp.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce. Toss to coat.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Garnish with extra parmesan cheese and black pepper, if desired.
