This Blueberry Cream Cheese Babka is a delightful twist on the classic babka, featuring sweet blueberry filling and creamy cheese swirls.

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1.5 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Roll out the dough and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly. Sprinkle blueberries on top.
  • Roll the dough into a log, then cut lengthwise. Twist the halves and place in the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, substitute half of the sugar with brown sugar.
