Preparation Steps
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until onion is translucent.
Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
