Instructions
Preparation Steps
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess fat.
Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce, water, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions, or until tender.
Serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a combination of ground beef and Italian sausage. You can also add other vegetables, such as mushrooms or bell peppers.
