In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until mostly smooth.

Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the bowl with the bananas. Stir to combine.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings like syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
Notes
These pancakes are best served immediately. You can also add chocolate chips or blueberries to the batter for extra flavor.
