Delicious banana bread donuts, perfectly moist and sweet. A simple recipe for a delightful treat.

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mash bananas. Add oil, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
  • Fill donut pan about ¾ full. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These donuts are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
