Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well blended.
Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt, then mix in the flour.
Pour the mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if using.
Bake for 60 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely on a rack.
Notes
For a twist, add a handful of chocolate chips before baking.
