This banana bread combines the rich taste of bananas with the wholesome goodness of oats and nuts for a nutritious treat.

  • 3 pieces ripe bananas mashed
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  • Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt, then mix in the flour.
  • Pour the mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  • Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if using.
  • Bake for 60 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely on a rack.

Notes

For a twist, add a handful of chocolate chips before baking.
