Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce.
Mix ricotta cheese with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
Layer half of the pasta in a large baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce and cheese mixture. Repeat layers.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Notes
Let the baked ziti rest for 5 minutes before serving to make it easier to slice and serve.
