  • 1 pound bacon sliced into thirds
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wrap each little smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Place wrapped smokies on a baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

Notes

These are best served warm. You can prepare them ahead of time and just pop them in the oven before guests arrive.
