Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
While pasta cooks, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Leave about 2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the skillet.
In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in the bacon grease until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
Reduce heat to low. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return cooked chicken and bacon to the skillet. Stir in half of the cheddar and all of the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve immediately, garnished with additional cheese and parsley if desired.
