bacon cheese balls

A crispy and cheesy bacon snack, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded four cheese Mexican blend
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked and chopped)
  • 0.33 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 18 sticks pretzel sticks

Preparation Steps

  • Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, chopped chives, minced garlic, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Chill for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Form the mixture into 18 small balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • In a shallow dish, combine chopped bacon and remaining chopped chives.
  • Insert a pretzel stick into each cheese ball and roll in the bacon-chives mixture.
  • Keep in the fridge if not serving immediately. About 15 minutes before serving, remove from fridge.
