Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, beat together sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in vegetable oil and milk until well combined.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in the diced apples.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
This apple bread is best served at room temperature. It can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
