Air Fryer Potatoes and Sausage in 30 Minutes

Crisp baby potatoes, onion, and browned smoked sausage make an easy four-serving air fryer dinner in 30 minutes.

  • 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes halved
  • 1 small onion cut into large chunks
  • 2 tablespoons light olive oil or canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 ounces fully cooked smoked sausage cut into 1-inch slices
  • nonstick cooking spray for the air fryer basket
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley for serving
  • honey mustard, ketchup, or barbecue sauce for dipping

  • Slice the baby potatoes in half and cut the onion into large chunks.
  • Place the potatoes and onion in a gallon-size zip-top bag with the oil, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Seal and toss until evenly coated.
  • Spray the basket of a 6-quart air fryer with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Add the coated potatoes and onion to the basket and air-fry at 400°F for about 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • While the potatoes cook, cut the smoked sausage into 1-inch slices.
  • After the potatoes have cooked for 15 minutes, add the sausage and cook for 5 minutes more.
  • Sprinkle with dried parsley and serve with honey mustard, ketchup, or barbecue sauce if desired.

Notes

Use fully cooked smoked sausage rather than raw sausage.
