Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, these air fryer mozzarella balls are a perfect appetizer or snack.

  • 12 oz Mozzarella balls Preferably bocconcini
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian seasoned
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs Lightly beaten
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce For dipping

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F.
  • Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  • Dredge each mozzarella ball in flour, then eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Arrange the balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, spray the mozzarella balls lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
