Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, beating until fully combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
Press each dough ball slightly with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are golden. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
