These 7-Layer Heath Toffee Cookie Bars are a decadent treat, perfect for holidays or any occasion. Layers of buttery shortbread, toffee, chocolate, and more create an irresistible combination of textures and flavors.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup Heath toffee bits
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add flour and salt; mix until just combined.
  • Press half of the dough into the prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle half of the toffee bits and chocolate chips over the crust.
  • Repeat layers with remaining dough, toffee bits, and chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
