This simple lemon cream cheese dump cake only requires four ingredients and yields a deliciously tangy dessert perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 box lemon cake mix approximately 15.25 oz
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.25 cup lemon pie filling
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the lemon pie filling evenly.
  • Layer slices of cream cheese evenly on top of the lemon pie filling.
  • Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix over the cream cheese layer.
  • Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Notes

This dump cake is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
