Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 ½ lbs (680g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil
  • 2 tbsp (16g) Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  1. Season the Steak Bites:
Pat the steak cubes dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, toss the steak with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until well coated.
  2. Sear the Steak:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steak cubes in a single layer (work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding). Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy and the inside is tender. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:
Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the chopped parsley and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  4. Combine and Serve:
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly. Cook for an additional minute to heat through. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Steak Selection: Sirloin is a great choice, but you can also use ribeye or tenderloin for an even richer flavor.
  • Heat Level: Adjust the Cajun seasoning to your desired spice level or add a pinch of cayenne for extra heat.
  • Serving Suggestions: Pair with roasted vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, or a simple side salad for a complete meal.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated in a skillet over medium heat.

Cajun Garlic Butter Steak Bites are proof that quick and easy can still be incredibly delicious. One bite, and you’ll be hooked on their bold flavors and buttery richness!
